We are a Transport and Construction company active on the Surinamese market since 1991. Since then we have been very active in the various disciplines of transport, civil construction, bush clearing, equipment rental and general services. As the successor of the A.S.W. Company, active in Suriname from 1971 till 1985, Haukes N.V. has inherited the high standards and reputation which have been set in the past. The company is founded by Mr. H.G.M. Haukes who fulfills the role of Managing Director of the company. To make sure that Haukes N.V. complies to the international standards regarding quality, health, safety and the environment, we are ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified since November 2009. In addition to this we keep raising the bar to continiously improve the performance of our company. Haukes N.V. is aware of their social responsibility as one of the larger companies within the Surinamese society. It is very important for us to fulfill this role and act as an example when it comes to health, safety and environment standards. We strive to Raise The Bar not only within our business, but within the society as well.
