Hwa Chong International School

Established in 2005 with the endorsement of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Economic Development Board of Singapore (EDB), HCIS is part of Singapore's endeavours to diversify the local education landscape and offer more educational pathways and connections with the region and the world. As a local international school, at least half of the student population is local, and the rest from over 20 countries. HCIS offers a six-year integrated curriculum that eventually prepares students for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at Year 6 (Grade 12). Our IB graduates have been well placed to seek admission to prestigious universities around the world, having nurtured with capability building and character development into global citizens who will collectively create a better world.
