A member of Vietnam National University-HCM, which ranks at 701-750 in the QS World University Rankings, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) is the largest training and research institution in the fields in the South of Vietnam. USSH has had three periods of development: University of Letters, Saigon University (1957-1976), University of Ho Chi Minh City (1976-1996) and University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1996-present). Its core values are Creativity - Leadership - Responsibility, its philosophy being Whole Person - Liberal - Multicultural Education.
