CHRISP has two missions as it is both an implementer and an enabler of evidence-based and clinical led business practice change. CHRISP's implementer mission is: To respond with appropriate systemic interventions to internal and external factors that have caused or are likely to cause preventable health care associated infection to either patients or staff. CHRISP's enabler mission is: To provide the necessary education, competencies, capabilities, technology and frameworks to enable all facility-based Infection Control Programs to identify, respond appropriately and prevent health care associated infection to patients and staff.
