Healthwatch Blackpool

We specialise in gathering the experiences of people using health and social care services, and feeding them back to those who run them. We hold services to account and make recommendations on how to improve. Through local engagement we collect vital data on how and why people use services in their area. Our places on the Blackpool Council Health and Wellbeing Board along with other key commissioning and strategic steering groups means we can represent the public at all levels of decision making and service design and delivery. Healthwatch Blackpool also directly supports people in their community by giving independent information and advice, and putting them in touch with other services. We are commissioned directly by the local authority, and are facilitated by Healthwatch Lancashire.
