Hearty Fresh

Hearty Fresh Inc is a customer-focused produce company located in the rural community of Byron Center, Michigan. We are situated within an agricultural area of Michigan that grows onions, celery, sweet corn, cabbage, summer and winter squash, cucumbers, asparagas, apples, peaches, and blueberries. Our operation began in 1993 when Mr. Randall Huizinga began packing onions and celery marketed under the Hearty Fresh brand. In 1995, we expanded our operation to include a trucking company, giving our customers reliable, on-time delivery 7 days a week. In 2003, we built a 50,000 square foot facility. Since then, we have undertaken several additions, including onion storage and packing facilities and more refrigerated storage.
