In 2004, the companys founder, Farouk Hefni successfully established the shipyard in Safaga, Red Sea, Egypt for luxury ship-building, manufacturing and repairs. For their own fleet Blue Planet Liveaboards as well as other Diving, Snorkeling and Fishing Boats. Since 2004, the combined efforts of Moustafa Hefni and Ahmed Hefni, two ambitious men active in the market, have kept the tradition of HEFNI SHIPYARD alive and striving. At the same time, we have placed the bases for further growth, aiming at the management of a modern and qualitative, capable to correspond in the increased requirements of a competitive marine growing market.
