Heringer Fertilizers

One of the pioneers in the production, marketing and distribution of fertilizers in Brazil, having been in the market for 43 years, Heringer is now among the three largest fertilizers manufacturers in the country, with 18 plants and a business unit strategically located in the states of Sao Paulo, Minas Gerais, Parana, Espirito Santo, Sergipe, Bahia, Goias, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, all of which produce, sell and distribute fertilizers for the different crops grown in Brazil. A new plant to produce Single Super Phosphate (SSP) was also inaugurated in November 2008. The Company´s shares are negotiated in the Novo Mercado, maximum segment of corporate governance and transparency at BM&FBOVESPA - Bolsa de Valores de São Paulo, since April, 2007, ticker: FHER3.
