High Noon

High Noon

Owned and managed by its original founding partners Joseph Sherwood and Linda Kohn since it formation in 1986, High Noon specializes in all areas and all levels of Western Americana -- providing a full service approach to collecting that includes a uniquely personal touch. High Noon's founding cornerstone has been the American Cowboy from his meteoric rise following the Civil War, through the western expansion, culminating in Hollywood's silver screen versions of bits, spurs, chaps, and saddles. High Noon also specializes in Charro artifacts dating from mid-1700's, Native American historic and reservation period pieces and Fine Western Art. Based in Los Angeles, Sherwood and Kohn have a gallery in the Culver City area which is open whenever they are in town and not on the road attending or exhibiting at shows. Held every January in the Phoenix, Arizona valley, the High Noon Show and Auction has become the largest event of its kind. A destination venue, High Noon provides collectors with over 230 quality dealers selling everything from $50 vintage braided cowboy quirts to $50,000 Chief's blankets. The always popular 400 lot Saturday night auction continues to establish record prices in most areas of Western Americana. The High Noon weekend also hosts exhibitions by long-term collectors, educational breakfasts with speakers from major Western Museums and field trips to local Arizona museums and collections.
