The Centre for Research and Consultancy (CRC) has been established to promote academic research, Sponsored research and consultancy. Researchers include full time scholars, part time scholars, faculty members, and post graduate and undergraduate students and they collaborate with colleagues across the University. The Centre for Research & Consultancy is headed by Director (Research) and assisted by Dean (Research), Associate Dean (Research) and three Research Coordinators looking after Academic Research, Funded Research, Consultancy respectively and an IPR Coordinator managing IP related issues. The Centre has evolved policies for Sponsored Research, Consultancy and Intellectual Property Rights. The primary objective of the CRC is to promote quality research programs, facilitate and support multi-disciplinary, inter University, International research proposals and Institute-industry interaction through: • Developing and nurturing international linkages for research and development. Organizing Generic Training Programs for Research Scholars. • Formation of Research Forums and Research Groups • Interaction between various Research Groups through research forum meeting. Colloquium for Research Scholars. Fostering of relationships with funding agencies to better understand research priorities. Facilitating project proposal preparation and submission, establishment of project accounts, review for large and complex projects.
