Hochbahn
Founded in 1911, Hamburger Hochbahn provides local public transportation services in Germany, and operates bus and rail transit system. The company also engages in the technical up-keep of its bus fleet; maintenance and repair of various types of motor vehicles; and fitting out vehicles for dual purpose use with gas; and the development and construction of special rolling stock. It operates pleasure boats and ferry trips for tourists in Alster Lake, as well as in its canals and waterways; and provides public ferry services in the port of Hamburg and on the river Elbe. Based in Hamburg, Germany, Hamburger Hochbahn operates approximately 38 vessels, 94 buses and coaches, and 48 city buses.
