Hope Africa Collective
Hope Africa Collective was established in 2009 by Jeremy & Bridget Hilliard and Terry & Jeanenne Hilliard, originally under the name Bridge for Hope International. The call to begin a work in Africa arose from the needs we saw while doing mission and development work throughout Africa and other developing countries. While in South Africa, it was impossible to see needs of such scale, and do nothing about it. This is where Hope Africa Collective was launched, in an expansive area that was once sadly called "the dumping ground of apartheid." Noticing the shortfall in development, and through consulting with dozens of non-profits, aid organizations, and companies, we put together the framework of Hope Africa Collective. Since that time, we have seen explosive growth and community change on an organic level as lives are being developed through a variety of life, skills, and discipleship-based development initiatives.
