Hempstead County Economic Development Corporation is dedicated to responsible economic development that: provides jobs that pay living wages, expands the tax base, protects the environment, and improves the quality of life for all area citizens. Progressive and dynamic regional leaders invest in the non-profit Hempstead County Economic Development Corporation to insure jobs growth and economic improvement in southwest Arkansas. HCEDC has been a member of the Southwest Arkansas Development Alliance, which is a voluntary association of economic development professionals in the area of Southwest Arkansas, Northeast Texas, and Northwest Louisiana.
