HSE UTILITIES

Hamilton Southeastern Utilities, Inc. ("HSE") is a private sanitary utility located in the "Southeastern" portion of Hamilton County, Indiana. We provide services for the major portion of the City of Fishers and portions of the City of Noblesville as well as unincorporated areas of Delaware, Fall Creek and Wayne Townships. Since our inception in 1988, HSE has dedicated itself to the highest standards. We have entrusted the development and management of our facilities to Sanitary Management & Engineering Company, Inc. (SAMCO - www.samcoinc.us) and they have been by our side from the beginning. Starting with our cutting edge utility specifications, SAMCO has created and implemented a number of "firsts" that continue to be copied by other utilities. Our GIS and web based document sharing provides multiple benefits. Not only do they help us effectively manage our assets, but they also allow the public, developers, and engineers to easily integrate new designs into existing infrastructure. Our Master Planning process has allowed us to provide services in a systematic and meaningful way in our expanding utility district. The residential and commercial growth was and is dependent on the success of our planning process and the insight, expertise and guidance provided by SAMCO has been instrumental in our success. SAMCO has overseen, reviewed, inspected and now maintains the following for HSE: A service area of over 43,000 acres 25 lift stations, with pumps up to 200 HP 1,487,000 feet of mainline sewers 902,000 feet of lateral sewers 23,500 sewer laterals 5,000 manholes 1,850 other structures such as grease traps, clean-outs, etc.
