Halogenated Solvents Industry Alliance

HSIA's mission is to rely on sound science in the assessment of potential health effects of halogenated solvents; to promote the principles of excellent product stewardship; and to represent the interests of manufacturers, producers, distributors and commercial users of halogenated solvents. HSIA sponsors scientific research on the health and environmental effects of chlorinated solvents, promotes toxicology and epidemiology research on the solvents, and participates in risk assessments conducted by regulatory agencies. In addition, we promote and encourage the responsible product stewardship of chlorinated solvents.
