Founded in 1958, Sichuan Huafeng Enterprise Group Co., Ltd (State-Owned Factory No. 796) is the first research and manufacturing facility established by the People's Republic of China for electrical connectors for military applications and undertakes tasks of researching, developing and manufacturing electrical connectors for key equipment and key projects of national importance. The company is not only a core and backbone corporation in the field of electrical connector for aerospace, aviation, navigation and electronic equipment, but also a national high-tech enterprise, the president unit of the Association of Electrical Interconnect Industry of China, as well as the Chinese focal point of Technical Committee 48 and Sub-Committee 48 of the international standardization organization IEC. Huafeng has been listed among of China's Top 100 Manufacturers of Electronic Components for 29 consecutive years, and is the editor and publisher of Electromechanical Components, the sole authoritative technological magazine of China's electromechanical industry.
