Huaraz Treks and Climbs is a local mountain climbing and trekking guide service offering fully supported treks and climbs in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash mountain ranges with a complete logistical support team. We are based in Huaraz, Peru at the foot of the Cordillera Blanca mountain range, the Huascaran National Park, dominated by the massive Nevado Huascaran Mountain at 6768m. Rodolfo Oropeza of Huaraz Treks and Climbs is a fully certified UIAGM/IFMGA Guide. The UIAGM or the Union International des Associations de Guides de Montagne is the highest internationally recognized certification for mountain guiding. He also holds a Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder certifications. All our trips cater for solo travelers to 12 people maximum, and our local knowledge allows us to tailor trips to your interest, whether it is photography, bird watching, botany, geology and natural or social history. So if you enjoy walking, hiking, trekking, climbing or just want the day off driving we are your first contact when you visit the Cordillera Blanca, the Huascaran National Park and the Cordillera Huayhuash.
