In addition, England Enterprises is an independent certified third party contract building inspection entity. Our main office is located in Charleston, SC and have major offices located in the midland and piedmont areas with nine satellite offices which enable us to provide statewide building inspections for new building construction, additions, or renovations in South Carolina. England Enterprises is on the approved list with the Office of School Facilities (OSF) and certified approved list with the Office of the State Engineer (OSE) to perform all Chapter 1 and part of Chapter 17 building inspections for schools and state owned buildings in South Carolina. We are certified by the International Codes Council (ICC) and licensed by the State of South Carolina to perform building inspections within South Carolina. England Enterprises provides your needs for Chapter 1 and Chapter 17 inspections. Chapter 1 inspections include: footings, concrete slab preparation prior to pour, sheetrock, over head (prior to installation of ceiling tile), seismic restraints for the fire sprinkler system, roofing, all mechanical, (HVAC, heating, refrigeration, gas), in wall framing for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical, structural wood framing, energy code, masonry veneer, handicap accessibility, and the final inspection. In addition, we perform all of the fire and life safety, fire sprinkler, and accessibility inspections. We also perform Chapter 17 special inspections which include: rebar placement, smoke control, structural masonry, pier and pile, and sprayed- on fireproofing. We subcontract Chapter 17 special inspections such as: bolting and welding, structural steel framing, concrete testing, and others as necessary. England Enterprises will provide a single proposal for Chapter 1 inspections or a combined proposal for both Chapter 1 and Chapter 17 inspections. Our variety of certifications allows us to provide inspection services for all large or small building construction projects.
