Since 1981, ICI Construction, Inc. has been setting the industry standard for performance and advancement in construction. As a family owned and operated business, ICI Construction has a reputation for offering the highest quality work and providing the most innovative ideas for a variety of projects. Russell Cobb started the company in 1981, and he has dedicated his life to the team, clients and community associated with the company. ICI Construction was founded under the name of Innerspace Construction in Houston, and incorporated in 1983. In order to grow with the Texas market, a Dallas division was opened in 1989. In 1997 Innerspace Construction changed its name to ICI Construction, Inc. The founder of ICI Construction, Russell Cobb, lost his battle with cancer of May 2014. Russ founded the ICI Construction legacy in 1981. He graduated from University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in Applied Science. Russ semi-retired over a decade ago and left the day to day operations to his son's Bart and Tom. In the summer of 2015, Bart and Tom purchased ICI due to their passion for construction and to carry on their father's legacy.
