Incheon Free Economic Zone

As the very first Free Economic Zone of the Republic of Korea, the Incheon Free Economic Zone seeks to become an excellent role model for free economic zones in other cities and other countries. Since its designation as Korea's first free economic zone on August 11, 2003, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) composed of Songdo, Yeonjong and Cheongna has grown into a global city. To meet the initial purpose of the designation and development we will strive to create a "Global Business Frontier and high-tech industrial complex which will nurture future growth engines including IT, Biomedical, renewable energy AI, drone and advanced aviation. Also, we will continue to spare no effort to build a global education city, eco-friendly city and a premium culture and art city which will enable citizens to enjoy a better quality of life. The English poet William Cowper said, "God made the country and man made the town. The city has been called one of humanity's greatest inventions. Together we are working to create our city on the sea and tidal flats of nature created by God. IFEZ is aiming to become the greatest city in the world based on its business friendly services and administration. IFEZ enthusiastically welcomes all investors from at home and abroad.
