Indira Gandhi National Open University

Indira Gandhi National Open University, or IGNOU, is a national central university established by the Parliament of India in 1985. IGNOU provides for the higher education needs of students in India and around the world via their physical campus locations and distance learning programs. They offer a variety of degree, diploma, and certificate programs in a wide range of study areas, such as the humanities, social sciences, medical and health, performing and visual arts, agriculture, law, and more. The university is headquartered in New Delhi, India.
