IKB Academy

IKB Academy , which specialises in science and engineering, has formed a link with Campbell Reith , a long-established international practice that has its Bristol base in Pixash Lane. Campbell Reith has taken on the academy, which opened two years ago for students aged 14 to 19, under the construction industry's Adopt a School programme. This is aimed at ensuring that talented young people discover all the options available for a career in construction. Campbell Reith and IKB marked the launch of their partnership with an immersion day, in which employees spent time in the classroom and students visited the company's local headquarters and toured the Holburne Park development in Lansdown, Bath, where Campbell Reith is building luxury homes. This enabled them to see various stages of the construction process.
