Importadora La Plaza

Importadora la Plaza was founded on 1979, as a modest parts shop for motorcycles in the city Santiago de los Caballeros, by the brothers Luís, Osvaldo y Ambiorix Rivera Hernández. In 1981, a venue in San Francisco de Macorís was acquired, then in La Vega the next year; the business vision and the hard work of the Rivera brothers brought the company, in 1986, to what is now Importadora La Plaza. In 2009, we started an organizational change project where we started a review of the whole structure and its organizational processes with the goal to improve even more our organization, and thus create a modern company, with higher quality standards, focused on the growth and development of our human resources. From the start Importadora La Plaza was oriented towards the sale of motorcycle parts, adding later the import and distribution of parts and accessories for cars and bicycles; adopting as main goal, the excellence in its service and the satisfaction of its customers and associates. Quality, competitive prices, fast and precise delivery, solid guarantee and careful product lines have earned us a leadership seat in the Dominican market. At present, we satisfy the needs of the national market, with commercial contracts with the most recognized and prestigious manufacturers in Japan, China, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and United States. Our success and continuous growth is thanks to the great acceptance and support from our customers, with whom we have maintained a commitment to be an important associate in the success of their businesses, and to our collaborators who tirelessly help the organization.
