IMSCORP is a Lincoln, Nebraska, locally owned holding company with wholly owned subsidiary Bison Inc. and multiple operating divisions. Bison was founded in 1985 as a division of Industrial Machine Specialties, a custom industrial job shop manufacturer also based in Lincoln. Bison has built strong brand recognition in the sports equipment industry and specializes in high quality domestic manufacturing of basketball, volleyball, soccer, football and other team sports equipment and accessories living up to its "A Goal For Every Game" tag line. Innovation, player safety, quality, value and dedication to employment of American workers have been the hallmark of Bison's reputation. In 2006, Bison purchased Schelde North America LLC of Grand Rapids, Michigan, to expand its sports equipment marketing reach to Division I College programs, the new gym construction market and sports facilities at all levels. This acquisition included transfer of some manufacturing from Europe to Lincoln. In 2016, the company changed its name to SNA Sports Group. Controlling interest in Future Pro of Inman, Kansas, a sports equipment dealer, also enhances Bison's marketing reach. The 2011 acquisition by Bison of the BRP site furnishing line increases Bison's product offering into the park and recreation, municipal and corporate market segments with the additions of premium benches, litter and recycling receptacles, bike security stations and related products. BRP by Bison operates as a separate business unit but its products are manufactured in Bison's Lincoln, Nebraska, facility and some items are available through Bison's normal dealer marketing channels. In 2013, Bison seized the opportunity to acquire Institutional Products Incorporated of Indianapolis, Indiana. IPI had a 30 plus year history of providing facility specific custom built equipment required in the new gymnasium construction and renovation market. In April 2014, IPI by Bison was relocated to Bison's Lincoln, Nebraska, manufacturing and administrative headquarters.
