Indian Ladder Farms

The gift shop at Indian Ladder Farms mirrors our family friendly atmosphere. Children are welcome to "test drive" the many retro and inexpensive, fun toys within their reach. We truly have something for every generation, including fun and fashionable jewelry for those young and young at heart, trendy tools and gadgets, and we even carry the old fashioned calendar towels beloved by many for years. The gift shop carries a wide variety of unique, decorative and useful gifts, household items and accessories suitable for any occasion. We are always looking for goods made in America and especially NYS. All of the lotions and candles we sell are made in the USA, as are most of our soaps. Indian Ladder tries to be eco-conscious and socially responsible in choosing the companies we buy from. We are committed to supporting the local artisans and craftspeople whose greeting cards, soaps, candles and ornaments we sell. Our book selection is carefully chosen to provide entertainment, information, and advice on topics relevant to life on the farm, food growing and preparation (cooking!), and the interest of our customers. In addition, we have a great selection of unique and worthwhile children's books. We carry a number of books on New York State history and travel, including several by local authors such as our very own Timothy Albright and Laura Ten Eyck. In addition to our gifts, books and toys, we are also a farm market. Local honey and maple syrup can always be found on our shelves along with a variety of jams and jellies, some made locally. We have plenty of sauces, salsas, and relishes that will really jazz up any meal; some are locally produced. New York State cheeses, yogurts and local Meadowbrook Dairy milk stock our dairy cooler and of course we have seasonal vegetables from local farms and our own as they come in.
