Indie Alehouse

We are a small independent craft brewery making big flavourful Ales in Toronto. We're not fond of rules, beer style guidelines or people who tell us what we can't do. Our beers and food try to reflect this attitude and our quest to make something that will leave an impression. We hope to evoke a "Love it or Hate it" response with our beers and we're ok if they are not for you, there are lots of choices in life and we want to offer a different choice for beer drinkers tired of the mass market corporate "beer-product". Brewing in small batches with only the best ingredients, we make craft beer in a variety of styles to pair with different foods and the changing seasons and whatever we felt like that day. We don't make or serve lagers or pilsners - you can get those anywhere in the city. We make and serve hard to find Ales like a Belgian Sour, Double IPA or English Porter. We make some beers regularly and some once a year and even more are made one time only.
