Established in 1989 Innvotec is probably the oldest, independent venture capital firm in the UK. It has always been privately owned by its directors and staff. Innvotec has been regulated from the outset and is currently classed as a small Alternative Investment Fund Manager (FRN 122365). Its suite of permissions enables it to both hold and control client money and assets which means Innvotec does not have to outsource any of these important functions to third parties.
