iNovem was founded in 2001 by software industry practitioners, Peter Jackson and Jason Webb to develop Internet-architected enterprise Collaboration solutions. Peter and Jason are best known as the key architects and strategists of SmartGroups.com, Europe's premier community website. On completion of the successful £60M buy-out of SmartGroups to Freeserve, Peter and Jason dedicated their efforts to developing Collaboration software to integrate multi-geographical teams to streamline the delivery of mission-critical projects. From its offices near Hungerford, Berkshire, the iNovem team has invested in an 18 month software development programme which culminated in the launch of iNovem Team InitiativeÔ in February 2003.
