We provide an alternative to foster care, maximising the opportunities for close family relationships. However, we acknowledge that not all children and young people can immediately cope with the intensity of family relations. We support all aspects of children and young people's lives, doing 'whatever it takes' to help them engage in their communities; including communities of people through education, work and social activities and all the relationships this includes. Partnership is fundamental to our approach. These partnerships include: families, local authorities and health services.
