The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation was founded in 1956; its aim is to equip young people for life and to allow them to create positive change in their communities through gaining valuable life-changing skills. The main goal of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation is to provide the right conditions in order to ensure that every young person between the ages of 14-24 around the world has the opportunity to take part in the programme. The Licence Agreement that was signed between The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation and TIKAV in 2013 has allowed the programme to be represented and delivered by TIKAV under the name The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award-Türkiye. TIKAV (www.tikav.org.tr), is the only authorized organisation that can promote, deliver, audit and certify The Award across Turkey; The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Office is within TIKAV headquarters.
