Integrity was formed in 2003 by Richard Aguilar, Melanie Bailey and K.C. Griffin with the idea that apartments could be managed better. After over a decade of working with different management companies, multiple owners and diverse properties, Melanie and K.C. had a vision of working with an owner whose desire was to keep apartments,improve the quality of apartment living and take a long term approach to management. They wanted a permanent plan with someone invested in El Paso. Richard Aguilar is a native El Pasoan who began his real estate career as a teenager. He had a desire to change the face of El Paso by buying, improving and building apartment housing for the long haul. Having contracted with several different management companies before, Richard knew that having the right people in place was key to achieving his goals. After working with Melanie and K.C. for several years, the decision to move forward with Integrity was made and the growth has been unprecedented since. Integrity is unique because we look past the numbers and take a balanced approach to management. Our culture and our people define our success. We know that by caring for our Team Members and taking care of our residents, they will in turn take care of our assets to achieve our desired business results. We work for a select group of clients who are like-minded in their approach to owning and improving their apartment buildings and who believe in our vision and values. From our grass-roots beginnings, Integrity has grown to be a recognized and respected name in the industry, on a local and national level: In 2005, Melanie and K.C. received recognition from Multifamily Executive Magazine as two of the five top multifamily executives nationally. In 2011, Melanie received the Texas Apartment Association's Rita Kerby Regional Supervisor of the Year Award. That same year, she also received the National Apartment Association (NAA) Paragon Professional Designate of the Year Award - the highest award in our industry. In October 2012, Integrity was recognized by NAA as the number four employer in the nation for NAAEI certified employees. Even though we've grown, our philosophy hasn't changed much. We know that with the RIGHT people treating our residents the RIGHT way, and caring for our properties, we can create multi-family magic.
