Interestingsamples

After several years of developing mass spectrometry protocols for novel microsampling matrices such as dried-blood-spots and volumetric absorptive microsampling (VAMS), we realized that even though there are extremely sensitive high-throughput instruments capable of working with minuscule amounts of sample, the major bottleneck in research is actually the process of obtaining the samples. Participant recruitment and study organization is outdated and does not make use of modern internet and analytical tools. We decided to change this and in 2018 founded Interestingsamples company set to make clinical trials faster, more affordable and attractive for participants. We are 3 young, motivated professionals advised by a series of university professors and key opinion leaders from the blood microsampling community. David is a programmer with comprehensive experience in design of bank systems and his responsibilities at Interestingsamples are front-end development as well as design and user experience. Maros is a molecular biologist with experience in development of mass spectrometry protocols for dried blood spots and at Interestingsamples he is responsible for process development and communication. Peter is a back-end programmer with work experience in development of resource planning systems. At Interestingsamples Peter maintains server/database and he is responsible for data security. Maria is an architect and graphics designer with 5 years of work experience. All graphics featured on the website and beyond are being designed by Maria. Helena is a UX/UI designer with a career path in graphic design. Her responsibilities include UX/UI design and brand identity.
