Intermountain Distributing

In 1948, Ralph C. Nelles founded Intermountain Distributing Company. This family run business was taken over in 1976 by son-in-law Don Brocopp and Don's Son, Tim Brocopp, is now operating it. Since then, Intermountain Distributing Company has grown into a dynamic company specializing in the marketing, sales and distribution of both beer and wine products. Intermountain Distributing Company first began as a beer distributor serving four counties surrounding Billings, Montana. Intermountain now services ten counties in south/center Montana, selling more than 1.7 million cases of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products yearly. In 1979, Intermountain Distributing Company began the sales and distribution of wine. Its wine division has continued to grow as it now distributes wine for more than 300 wineries from around the world. Intermountain continues to focus its wine business on meeting the needs of its customers by acquiring new brands to fill both mainstream and niche markets. Intermountain Distributing is a strong promoter of community involvement and the responsible use of our products.
