Dakotafire Media, LLC, was established in 2011 as a unique publishing company. It had the ambitious goal of sparking a revival in the Dakotas and beyond through innovative journalism that sparked conversations about what was happening and what was possible in rural communities. You can look through the archives of Dakotafire magazine here. The magazine ceased publication in January 2017. Since then, Dakotafire Media has focused on using its skills to help people and businesses tell their stories, make meaningful connections, and move closer to their goals through a variety of services: publishing, writing, graphic design, media consulting, and conversation facilitation. This new service-oriented focus is an outgrowth of the purpose that was at the heart of Dakotafire Media when it was founded and still guides it today: Helping people and communities-especially those in rural places-thrive.
