Inter State Gas Systems (Private) Limited (ISGS) was established in 1996 as a private limited company. ISGS Pvt. Ltd. has been incorporated under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (Now Companies Act, 2017). The organization has been mandated by the Government Of Pakistan as a specialized agency tasked with the import of viable energy sources to Pakistan. The company since its inception has been at the forefront in addressing issues arising in Pakistan's energy sector. ISGS is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Energy's Petroleum Division, Government of Pakistan.
