Island Products Manufacturing Company Limited (formerly Island Laundry Products Limited) is the pioneer of "Bulk Chemicals Sales" in Jamaica. The company was started out of a desire by its founder and Managing Director, E. Barry Martin, to ensure that cleaning and sanitizing household chemicals became affordable to all Jamaican irrespective of their financial status. Since packaging represents a significant portion of pricing, the company encouraged the recycling of plastic containers. Customers have been realizing real savings by simply reusing their plastic containers, having to pay only for the product and not the packaging. Incorporated in 1995 the company has been engaged in manufacturing a wide range of household and industrial chemicals, which includes bleach, polishes and sanitizing agents. In 2005, our product range was extended to include swimming pool and sewage treatment plant maintenance products, in 2007 private contract packaging for Bleach and in 2009 Bath Soap and Bar Washing Soap.
