Island Recruiting is currently searching for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our client located in Coleman, Prince Edward Island. Our client is an Island owned manufacturer of live bottom trailers with a staff of 150 employees. The COO will be responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, managing and optimizing all procedural and operational aspects of the Company with a singular focus of realizing the CEO's vision for achieving extraordinary growth. The COO will ensure that essential business building blocks such as operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems are put in to place consistently and effectively to achieve desired results. The COO will be very dynamic and have the strength, character, and stamina to thrive in a fast-paced culture that values innovation, rapid yet sustainable growth, and positioning within our industry. The COO will be responsible for ensuring that the Company's strategy supports the business's overall goals and objectives. He/She will ensure proper measures exist and high quality results are continuously delivered. The COO will provide robust leadership, clearly communicate and articulate the vision and mission to all levels of the Company while also further establishing the company culture.
