ItsMyCargo was founded by Danish and German entrepreneurs in collaboration with technology engineers and veterans of the logistics industry. In common is the vision of a transparent industry where hidden fees and commissions cease to exist and where shippers and logistics providers can connect directly. We want to reinvent the way logistics is done today by introducing a platform that takes the organisational aspect of shipping online. By being online, we can automate many of the processes and services that make logistics so time-consuming, and we can cut costs down and make shipping cheaper for everybody. It doesn't have to be difficult to ship cargo internationally. The ItsMyCargo vision is to create one of the world's first marketplaces where businesses can seamlessly ship across borders and oceans without hidden fees and logistical complexity. We want to empower companies to choose the logistics providers that they deem most appropriate and bring simplicity, user-friendliness and transparency to the old-fashioned industry of logistics. To accomplish our mission as soon as possible, we need to collaborate with partners and shippers to get a truly global reach empowering shippers to ship globally through an online corridor. The LCL shop of ItsMyCargo is a multi-sided platform. When a shipper or consignee is required to arrange for the transport of the sold or purchased good, ItsMyCargo will be the solution that does not require a phone call and wasted time, but just a couple of mouse clicks.
