ITW Construction Products provide the training free of charge. Training certificates are valid for 2 years, after which time the user will need to take a refresher course before their certificate can be updated. We are currently working with many major contractors by training their staff such as H&S Officers/Advisers & senior contract personnel as authorised instructors which then enables them to train their own employees. Maintenance forms a large part of our training programme as most tool problems are caused by lack of care. Our products are designed for rapid firing to increase productivity but a poorly maintained tool can lead to unnecessary down time for the user. To keep your tool in good working order, we recommend that it is professionally serviced once a year. In the interim, we advise that the operator should clean the product every 10,000 fixings.
