Jasper Hill Farm

Since 2003, Jasper Hill Farm has been an industry leader in producing handcrafted artisan cheese from our own herd of 45 Ayshire cows. A few years ago, we built the Cellars at Jasper Hill to provide aging, marketing and distribution services to other farmstead cheese producers. The internship program at Jasper Hill Farm seeks qualified individuals interested in expanding their knowledge of artisan cheese manufacturing and affinage. Whether you are a retailer/wholesaler looking to expand your understanding of the products you carry or seriously considering a career in production - we encourage industry professionals to apply! This program is not recommended for students in need of college credit. Internships are unpaid and last from three to six months with housing provided in a local inn. Interns can expect to work 40-50 hours a week and be involved in all tasks on the production level. The nature of the work we do involves lots of cleaning, manual labor, and heavy lifting. Due to the rural location of our farm, all interns must own their own car.
