Jayampathi Lanka Exports Pvt. Ltd is the brainchild of visionary entrepreneur Jayampathi W. Pathirana. He started the company in 1981 just after completing his higher studies with the aim of providing a lifeline to the grass root level of the people in Sri Lanka. The company is strategically located in the heart of the coconut triangle of Sri Lanka were the best raw materials such as coco peat, coir (coconut fibre) and coconut husk chips available in quantity. This helps us tremendously to have an uninterrupted material supply throughout the year which will help to meet our customers' demands on time. Further, the location of the factory facing to the main highway helps us to get the raw materials inside to the factory quite easily and dispatch the laden containers with finished goods more quickly to the Colombo Port. Presently we export over 100 x 40'HC containers per month and our products reach to more than 50 destinations in around 30 countries. The company is equipped with state of the art machines where many are fabricated by us after years of experience to provide best results in coco peat products, hydroponic products, Greenhouse products, animal bedding and pet bedding products, in-house and rooftop garden products etc. We have two production plants with all amenities such as separate warehouses for different raw materials, ample concrete floors for drying raw material cleanly and uniformly, coco peat and husk chips washing tanks, finished goods stores, loading and unloading equipment etc. Accordingly our present product portfolio consists more than 50 standard and customized products. Having said that, we like to stress, we are continually experimenting new blends of coco peat and coconut husk chips in our laboratory and outside with the help of experts to introduce improved product varieties for better results in agricultural and horticultural fields.
