Jenny Fabrics

Jenny Fabrics AG focuses and specializes itself on a permanent basis in the area of weaving. Therefore, we keep investing not only in our infrastructure, but also our machinery and equipment. In 2004 we are able to acquire the archives and know-how of the leno technology from the Weberei Wängi - a weaving mill which discontinued production. Today, we apply this historic weaving technique with especially modified weaving machines. With up to five warp beam systems, we are able to produce high-quality clothing and curtain materials. In the same year, we become shareholders of a weaving mill in Czech Republic. Consequently, we can bear the high pressure of costs and secure the jobs in Niederurnen. In 2006 we find a suitable and satisfactory partner in China after a long and intensive search. We react to the increasing pressure of rising costs and organize the purchase of high-grade fabrics woven with shafts for our customers. The quality is guaranteed by our team of experts in Niederurnen. In 2008 we replace half of our machinery in Niederurnen by new looms. In 2010 we integrate the grey good trading business of Christian Fischbacher Co. AG into Jenny Fabrics AG. By this decision, we complement our range of commercial fabrics covering the most varied requirements of embroiderers or textile printers. In addition, we are able to completely source fabrics at the request of our customers. In 2011 we decide to add twelve wide looms taken over from Keller AG of Wald who stopped their operation. This permits us for the first time to offer fabrics in a grey width of up to 340cm and to serve customers in the field of home textiles. In 2013 we take up an interesting cooperation with Getzner Textil AG from Bludenz, Austria. We convert twenty dobby looms to the Jacquard technology to weave exclusive damasks. In 2014 we participate in a Chinese vertical operation for shirt fabric. For the first time, Jenny Fabrics AG presents a complete shirt collection under the name Tintofilo. In 2017 we expand our weaving mill with fourteen more Jacquard machines.
