Joann Carter, known as the Jewelry Lady, began her career selling her jewelry at local beauty shops, barber shops and going from door to door to fulfill her vision. Since then she has been providing outstanding customer service, exceptional pricing and high quality fine jewelry with a personal touch. In 2005, she created the Jewelry Lady store front in Indianapolis to serve her customers. Keeping her business within the family, she received help from her sisters and began to teach her daughters about the jewelry business. Later in 2013 Joan's youngest daughter, Ashley, made the decision to assist in growing the family business after graduating from Purdue University with a Business Management and Marketing. Today, Jewelry Lady is a full service fine diamond jewelry store offering jewelry and diamond sales, jewelry repairs, appraisals, gold and diamond buying and we specialize in custom designing. Our custom designs are affordable AND high quality. We sit down with each client and include them in the process from start to finish, making them truly feel the excitement of having their dream piece made just for them! Jewelry Lady does not have the steep overhead that large chain stores have. This enables us to offer extremely competitive pricing on the same designs and products you see in the bigger branded companies. Also, because we are local and family owned we constantly give back to our community and participate in local causes and charity's.
