For more than 25 years, J.L. Shandy Transportation, Inc. has been a leading transportation services provider throughout the Midwest and beyond. Headquartered just outside of Chicago in St. John, Indiana, our centralized dispatch office in the heart of the Midwest allows us to deliver across the U.S. quickly, efficiently and, most importantly, safely. With extensive experience hauling steel products and equipment, bulk commodities transported in super sacks, and building materials, such as lumber, brick and shingles, the J.L. Shandy fleet includes more than 60 flatbeds, Conestoga trailers, and side kits that mobilize quickly to provide continuous, timely deliveries. We are capable of handling truckload and less than load (LTL) deliveries, as well as oversized, over-length, and machinery/equipment deliveries. Founded in 1991 by Jack and Lynn Crotty, JL Shandy has grown from an experienced dispatcher with a dream and a handful of independent contractors to a leading transportation services provider throughout the Midwest 25 years later.
