By 1973, Joe Piper Inc. was the leading distributor of poly coated job lot board in the country. More grades of bleached board were added to our inventory as other mills became eager to supply us. Soon, we invested in our own warehouse and converting facilities. We continue to add new paperboard grades to our inventory to give our customers a wider variety of options. Today, Joe Piper Inc. continues the legacy our founder began 41 years ago. Ann Piper is now President and CEO of the company, making it one of the largest female owned companies in America. With over 30 years in the paper industry, she strives to maintain Piper's leadership position. Currently, Piper services customers from two state-of-the-art distribution centers located in Birmingham, Alabama. These buildings provide over 750,000 square feet for warehousing and converting. Precision folio sheeters and slitter rewinders offer custom cut to size sheets and rolls with quality that is second to none.
