John Jenkins & Son

John Jenkins & Son is a family run business which was first established in 1958 as a local blacksmith firm. Since then the company has achieved significant growth under the guidance of Managing Director, Hugh Jenkins, and we now manufacture, supply and erect all types of steelwork from structural portal frames to railings, gates and balconies. Continuing a family tradition of quality service, the best product and experienced staff, the company supplies steel to some of Scotland's major construction and house building companies but equally we manufacture for individual contracts and one off requests. We can create bespoke designs tailored to the client's requirements. Our gates, railings and balconies can be seen all over the country, whether it be private houses or large scale housing developments. Furthermore, we also provide automated gates which can be designed and made specific to requirements. The company is now in the 3rd generation of the family with the recent addition of Hugh's son, Jonny. Qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor, Jonny will carry on the tradition of the business alongside Hugh and ensure a quality service is delivered at all times.
