Johnsons Chartered Accountants was founded in 1981 by the Johnson family consisting of father and two sons, all of whom were accountants. The Managing Director, David Turner FCA, is supported by a dedicated team of accountants, company secretary, tax specialists and support staff all based in West London with affiliate offices in the Isle of Man and Dubai. Stuart Thomson joined the practice in July 2015 as part of a growth strategy which led to the purchase of Simpsons Chartered Accountants ( a well established practice dating back to the 1930s) in September 2015. Our Tax Department is headed up by a senior tax practitioner who can assist in planning company and personal tax affairs so as to achieve maximum advantage of tax reliefs and it specialises in Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. We provide a comprehensive advisory service to business start ups by assisting with the preparation of business plans; suggesting and implementing recommended ownership structures; and advising on the best funding and tax arrangements such as EIS and SEIS.
