John Edward Trail

John Trail has been involved in the advertising and multimedia industries for more than 12 years. John continues to freelance nationwide in many capacities for a wide range of companies spanning many industries. Prior to launching out on his own, John served as Director of Web Technologies and Director of Information Technology for a managed care education and multimedia company in New Jersey. Where he successfully directed and managed several multi-disciplined teams in the creation of custom online solutions for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. John had the opportunity to work with companies such as: Merck ∓ Co., Bayer Healthcare, Elli Lilly, Schering-Plough, Roche, and many others. In addition to his responsibilities for all web based site and application development, he was also directly responsible for the design and development of the technology infrastructure that had to meet and exceed the stringent IT specification requirements outlined by the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, upon which the custom built online solutions would be delivered. John directed the creation of several centralized data management systems, which revolutionized the internal processes and efficiency of the company, enabling the company to harness, utilize, and benefit from the large amount of data they compiled on a regular basis. Embellishing upon the core data management systems that were developed and successfully employed internally, he directed the creation of a new online sales and marketing management product for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. The development and implementation of the new online product doubled the company's annual revenue within the first year of sales. Additionally, John has also been involved in the real estate and finance industries for many years, including having his real estate license, being involved in the secondary mortgage markets, and creating custom multimedia solutions for companies such as The Carlton Group, Carlton Exchange, Johnson Capital, MasterCard, Chase Bank, Charles Schwab, Constellation Value Protection, Dow Jones, Sirius Advisory, Fitch Ratings and Citibank. John has also had the pleasure and opportunity of working with a wide range of Advertising and Interactive agencies as a freelance consultant. John has worked with companies such as Euro RSCG, Cossette Communications , Ogilvy - CommonHealth, Qi Interactive, EVB , Jack Morton, Dowden Health Media, Flat Inc., M Agency, Source Communications, SuperNova, and others. John currently lives in the Poconos, and is the President of Trail Associates, loves traveling, bicycling, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
