An active member of the Laser Institute of America, Boynton is also a leader of the Granby, Connecticut FIRST Robotics Competition team, a program that offers mentoring to high school students and helps prepare them to participate in international robotics competitions. He earned a degree in manufacturing engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a master's degree in systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Email Scott
