Justice Clearinghouse

The Justice Clearinghouse (www.justiceclearinghouse.com) provides the first integrated, multi-disciplinary (e.g. law enforcement, courts, prosecutors) solution for public safety on-line training. Since the launch of the Justice Clearinghouse in 2014, over 15,000 individuals have participated in an on-line workshop. Every workshop the Justice Clearinghouse hosts features a custom-designed registration page which provides a unique brand for each event we host. The tightly integrated and customized Justice Clearinghouse platform streamlines registration processes, outreach/marketing of each event, and post-event follow-up, whether it's feedback about the course or the auto-generation of a Certificate of Attendance. Our model for integrating technology and customizing the Justice Clearinghouse brand is seamless and provides a friendly end-user environment. Every webinar hosted by the Justice Clearinghouse can seat up to 500 individual sign-ons. Due to the high number of attendees in a given webinar, attendees are in a "listen-only" environment to ensure background noise cannot distract from the content. Although attendees are muted, there are opportunities to engage with the audience throughout each event and afterwards through real-time polling, chat rooms and Twitter. The Justice Clearinghouse records every webinar and utilizes a robust course management system to track enrollment and completion of courses. Due to the sensitive nature around some of the criminal justice training the Justice Clearinghouse hosts, access control is important. Roles and permissions are set up for all users and is used to restrict content when necessary. In addition, designated administrators are able to retrieve details about whether personnel they supervise have participated in training. The tightly integrated and customized Justice Clearinghouse platform streamlines the registration processes, outreach/marketing for each event, and post-event follow-up, whether it's feedback about the course or the auto-generation of a Certificate of Attendance. It is a key reason why we have over 1,700 paid members, why over 15,000 folks have participated in on-line training, and why our events attract 200-300 registrations. The unique customization and integration that Waterhole Justice Consulting offers lends itself to incredible opportunities for business process improvement - from reduced staff time to improved customer service.
